How Can Physical Therapy Speed Up Recovery Time?

Do you have issues with pain, weakness, flexibility, balance, or walking?

Are you having difficulty doing things that you’re supposed to be able to do like walking, using stairs, working, or doing things at home?

These are just some of the things physical therapy can help you with. On the first visit your strength, range of motion, balance, and other functional capabilities are assessed to see what musculoskeletal impairments can be improved to get you to your physical goals.

If you are starting with a lot of pain we may use manual therapy, electrical stimulation, and other passive treatments to decrease the pain to allow you to begin tackling your biggest physical problems.

Physical therapy will teach you how to stretch and strengthen the right way and progress at the right times. It will teach you how to move properly at home, at work, or when participating in your hobbies to alleviate current injuries and prevent future ones.

If you think you have a muscle, tendon, ligament, or joint problem in any part of the body from head to toe, you can schedule physical therapy right away to assess your impairments and if you need further care after 10 business days, we can follow up with your doctor to adjust your plan of care.
