Pain Management
Over 85% of people will experience severe pain in their lifetime. Acupuncture has been proven to be very effective in reducing chronic pain. The changes we make in response to treatment can equally influence both the pain and inflammation of injury states, as well as certain sports performance related parameters such as speed and power. Scientifically speaking, acupuncture has been shown to affect the neurotransmitters of pain receptors, releasing endorphins to mitigate pain, and enhance eosiniphils to combat inflammation. No one is immune to pain. There are currently less-invasive therapies such as acupuncture with no side effects, or moderately-invasive therapies such as pill with side effects, or surgical procedures to manage pain.
